PNC show wins Asia’s Best Rising Star Award

Pritish Nandy Communications informs that its hit show, the Amazon Original, Four More Shots Please-acclaimed as the most watched show on Amazon this year– has won Asia’s Best Rising Star Award at Busan’s Asian Contents Awards live-streamed from the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea. The award, one of only ten awards given this year, went to the four lead actors of the show, Kirti Kulhari as Anjana Menon, Sayani Gupta as Damini Rizvi Roy, Maanvi Gagroo as Siddhi Patel and Bani J as Umang Singh.

The PNC-produced series has been also nominated for the prestigious International Emmys 2020. It has also won the Screen Writers Association’s SWA Award 2020 for Best Script for its two writers.

The Busan International Film Festival is one of the world’s most prestigious film festivals and the Asian Contents Award is the top award for content makers across Asia. Four More Shots Please is the only Indian show to have won an award at the Asian Contents Award this year, making it a very special achievement for Pritish Nandy Communications, creators and makers of the show for Amazon Prime Video who have put the show out in 200 countries and territories, in different language dubs and sub-titles.
