PNC declares Q3 results for the year 2025-26

Pritish Nandy Communications announced Q3 results for the quarter and nine month ended December 31, 2025 after its Board Meeting today.

The total income in Q3 was Rs 991.12 lakh with an operating profit (before exceptional item and tax) of Rs 212.53 lakh and a loss (after exceptional item and tax) of Rs 1021.81 lakh.

The first nine months of 2025-26 recorded a total income of Rs 3576.32 lakh as compared to the total income of the first nine months of 2024-25 which was Rs 2628.99 lakh, with an operating profit (before exceptional item and tax) of Rs 184.84 lakh and a loss (after exceptional item and tax) of Rs 1050.72 lakh as compared to a loss after tax of Rs 55.80 lakh in the first nine months of 2024-25.

During the quarter under review the Company has signed a valuable licensing agreement with Shemaroo Entertainment Limited for a number of titles from its content library for global broadcasting and streaming rights for a specified period of upto 11 years. As a consequence of this transaction. and as per the accounting policies of the Company, the Company has written down Rs 1.756.09 lakh from its unamortized value of content. The same is classified as’ Exceptional Items’, with a corresponding reversal of differed tax liability of Rs 442.01 lakh recognised under tax expense. There is however, no impact on the cash flows of the company, nor does the said write down have any continuing running impact on the Company's operations.

During the calendar year 2025, three of the Company’s original shows were released: Ziddi Girls on Amazon Prime Video, The Royals on Netf1i.x and season 4 of Four More Shots Please! on Amazon Prime Video

The Company is currently working on the development of the second season of its Netflix Original Series The Royals. Production of this season is likely to commence during the current year.

Other new series and films are in development at PNC‘S Creative studio for streaming platforms across the world. Atleast, one more of them is also likely to go into production later this financial year.
